Grozda 5 Vukoje Cellars 1982 0,7 L
Grape Brandy from Red Varieties | Vranac, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon | Alc. 40% | 0,7 L
Grozda 5 is more than brandy — it is an odyssey through the character of three noble grape varieties.
Crafted by the slow, meticulous distillation of Vranac, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon grape mash, and aged for 60 months in oak barrels, it embodies the richness of red fruit, the depth of tannins, and the spicy elegance of the great wines from which it originates.
The aroma reveals layers of baked plum, dried raisins, almond, and subtle smoky tones, while the palate unfolds warmth, complexity, and a long-lasting finish.
Serving suggestion: enjoy chilled at 10°C, as a post-dinner ritual or paired with dry-cured meats, aged cheeses, and dark chocolate.
Vukoje Cellars 1982
The Land of Herzegovina. Imperial Vineyards. Wine with the Mark of Its Terroir.
At the confluence of the Trebišnjica and Sušica rivers — where the first vines were once cultivated for the Austro-Hungarian court — today stand the Vukoje vineyards, a heritage not measured in years, but in the depth of taste.
For nearly five decades, “Podrumi Vukoje 1982” has been crafting wines and distillates in limited series, relying entirely on its own vineyards, deep underground cellars, and craftsmanship that unites tradition and innovation.
Across the sunny Herzegovinian landscapes of Ušće and Zasad Polje, both indigenous and international varieties flourish: Žilavka, Vranac, Tamjanika, Chardonnay, Syrah, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Muscat, and more.
The Imperial Vineyards, declared by the Austro-Hungarian Empire in the late 19th century as the perfect site for Žilavka, continue to yield wines of exceptional minerality and elegance.
In Zasad Polje, near the riverbank, Vukoje crafts wines of precise structure and distinct terroir identity, as well as world-awarded olive oils, produced through organic cultivation and the help of unusual vineyard companions — sheep that naturally graze and clear the soil beneath the trees.
The winery’s journey goes beyond wine.
In 2018, Vukoje built a state-of-the-art distillery, designed according to the highest German standards, bringing a new dimension to its portfolio.
Varietal brandies, rakijas, and herbal liqueurs follow the philosophy of complete control — each grape variety expressed in its own liquid form.
Among them is also the first Herzegovinian gin, distilled from local botanicals and fruit.
Vukoje is more than a winery — it’s a universe of flavor, where stone, sun, and time merge into bottles that travel the world — from China to America to Europe — leaving a mark wherever they pour.
